Below is Emiel Maier‘s monthly news video. He has done a very good job on this video, as usual. I know that everyone will find this very entertaining and informative.

My dear friend Dennis F. Miller sent me these two photos of Elvis. These were taken during the same show from which Jesse chose the photo to be displayed on the front of his book. I remember Jesse sending the photo to Dr. Hinton to be used on the cover of his book. He said it was a favorite photo of his and was unpublished.

Here is the front of the book by Dr. Hinton and Jesse. I chose the title for the book one day when Dr. Hinton and I were speaking on the phone. I especially wanted it to include “In His Own Words” in the title.

This beautiful photo was also shared with me by my good friend Dennis F. Miller.

I have been a huge fan of the Patriots’ logo since the first time that I saw it so many years ago. I thought that it was just me who saw the resemblance to Elvis in their logo until I did some research and learned that it was officially known as the “Flying Elvis” Patriots’ logo.
I am not a sports fan, but I most certainly am an official fan of this wonderful logo…so I wish the Patriots the very best of luck in tonight’s Super Bowl.
We all know what Jesse is doing right now… watching the Super Bowl! He once said that the only good thing about winter is football.

*As I posted on my preceding January page, I am very eager and excited about one of the song titles that I have never heard before, and can’t wait to see if maybe the song that has gained my excited attention is one of the two mentioned above. “…interpretations that celebrate the King in an entirely new way “.
Here is my quote about this song, as I posted on my January page:
“A Change Of Reality” (Do You Miss Me?)That title and sub-title certainly do speak to me of a faked death with a new “reality” and asking if we miss him.
I asked AI if it is actually Elvis’ voice on this song, and was given the following answer:

If Jesse wants something of this nature included in the new movie, he certainly has at least one very good friend who could intercede to help make this happen.
Time will tell…
Below is another search result that I just ran on the song title. Again, a very interesting description. I love things like this so much!
“A Change Of Reality (Do You Miss Me?)” is a 2026 song by Elvis Presley and Jamieson Shaw, featured on the soundtrack for Baz Luhrmann’s EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert film. This track is a modern, reimagined mix utilizing archival audio to create a new, intimate performance, showcasing a “DNA track” style. It is part of a 2026 album showcasing remastered and remixed Elvis performances.

Key details regarding “A Change Of Reality (Do You Miss Me?)” include:
-
-
Release Context: It is track 26 on the EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert soundtrack, releasing digitally and on CD on February 20, 2026, with a 2-LP vinyl set following on April 24, 2026.
-
-
Production: The song is a collaboration between Elvis Presley and music producer/mixer Jamieson Shaw.
-
Nature of the Track: It is described as a “DNA track” or “new mix,” blending original recordings with fresh production to create a new, intimate, and modern experience.
-
Album Feature: The song is included in the soundtrack to Baz Luhrmann’s film EPiC, which presents Elvis in a “raw, human, eccentrically humorous” light.
-
Lyrics/Theme: The lyrics, as teased, touch on themes of intimacy and longing (“Do you miss me?”), with a vocal performance that aims to reveal a more human side of the artist.
I also love that it is track # 26. The number8 is Elvis’s number…January 8, 1935. Remember, June 26, 1977, was the date of Elvis’s last concert. Also, it is being released in the year 2026.

What is the new ‘EPiC’ Elvis movie about?
Luhrmann’s documentary follow-up to his hit 2022 biopic, “Elvis,” which starred Austin Butler as the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, “EPiC” was constructed by Luhrmann and editor Jonathan Redmond from some 59 hours of previously unseen footage from the Warner Bros. vaults, plus audio and visual content from the Graceland archive.

Elvis Presley is back on the big screen.
“EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert,” the new movie from director Baz Luhrmann, arrives in theaters this month.
A sort of documentary complement to Luhrmann’s hit 2022 biopic “Elvis” (which earned eight Academy Award nominations and $288 million at the worldwide box office), “EPiC” had its world premiere in September at the Toronto International Film Festival.” It made its U.S. debut on Jan. 8 at Graceland before close to 1,000 Elvis fans.
Here’s what to know about the new concert documentary, along with when and where you can check it out.
Is the Elvis movie ‘EPiC’ out yet?
“EPiC” opens Thursday, Feb. 19, in IMAX venues around the country. In Memphis, the movie will screen at 5 p.m. and 7:20 p.m. that night in the IMAX auditorium at the Malco Paradiso.
“EPiC” will continue to play on IMAX screens (including the Paradiso) for the next week, after its Feb. 19 debut.
The movie focuses on Elvis’ concert years, from 1969 until his death at age 42 in 1977. Much of the material was captured during the singer’s epic run of shows at the International Hilton in Las Vegas. “The movie is a revelation, because for 96 minutes it shows you just how intoxicating Elvis Presley was when he began to perform live in Las Vegas,” wrote critic Owen Gleiberman, in Variety.
Although the filmmakers had more than enough footage to justify a streaming-service miniseries, “EPiC” was edited to a relatively tidy 97 minutes to be a theatrical feature film, and enable Elvis to return to cinemas for the first time since the 1970s, when such documentaries as “Elvis: That’s the Way It Is” and “Elvis on Tour” enjoyed theatrical distribution. Explained Redmond: “The big man with the big voice deserves the big screen.”
The film is distributed in the U.S. by Neon and internationally by Universal.
