The below video comes close to explaining Elvis’ health in the last years of his life…, especially the last months. Jesse told me about having to take medication to do so many shows. Jesse has had health issues during the years that he and I have been close friends. I worry so much about him.
Perhaps watching and listening to the facts stated in this video will help everyone to understand why he HAD to leave the image behind and take care of the man. I am eternally thankful that he made that choice and that I have been blessed to be a part of his life and he is a huge part of my life.
This video reaches the wrong conclusion by saying that he really did die. Please don’t be thrown by that conclusion of the video. They just don’t know the real truth…
Elvis Presley’s TRAGIC Final Months Of Severe Pain, Suffering, And Cruel Tours
Celebrity Lifestyle & Moments
Nov 12, 2022
I want to explain one thing about the number of shows that Elvis was doing in spite of being in so much pain. Colonel Parker has been accused of causing Elvis to die by forcing him to work so hard and to do so many shows approaching the end.
In Dick Grob’s book, it is stated that Dick witnessed a conversation between Elvis and Col. Parker regarding booking so many shows. Elvis was the one demanding that Col. Parker book more shows for him. Col. Parker resisted because he felt it was too hard on Elvis. But, Elvis told the Col. that if he would not book the shows for him, he would find someone who would.
You see Elvis was trying to take care of business leading up to the end of his career. He was taking care of a lot of people and a lot of financial matters leading up to August 16, 1977.
Elvis –Safe & Sound This is a new book by Dick Grob, Elvis’ former Head of Security. An initial short run of the book was printed in the USA for the 40th Anniversary Commemorations in August 2017. This 2nd Edition is now revised & Hardback. The book is unique, containing numerous never-before-published Photo’s & Archive material, it tells the inside story of Elvis in Palm Springs, what life was like on tour, of various escapades not covered in other books & what it was really like to work with & for the world’s greatest entertainer. As an ex Police Officer, Dick doesn’t mince his words, he shoots straight from the hip; you can tell from reading this book what mutual trust & genuine friendship these two men had for each other. Not only is it a fascinating read, it helps you build a picture of what it must have been like to be Elvis, on the road, behind the scenes & always so dedicated to his fans.
My good friend Dennis Miller loaned me Dick’s book and I enjoyed it very much. I returned the book and so I don’t have a way to look up the number of the page on which the conversation between Elvis and Col. Parker was recounted.
*footnote: Please see farther down on this page the copy of the page from Dick Grob’s book on which one may read Dick’s account of the conversation between Elvis and Col. Parker regarding Elvis’ demand to be booked for more shows.
My good friend, Dennis Miller, looked up this page and sent a copy of it to me to substantiate my article. My heartfelt thanks to Dennis who did this as a surprise for me.

Elvis Presley Breaking News that you wanna know!

Elvis Presley’s family knew him best. Listen to what his aunt Delta Mae had to say.
Below are photos of a beautiful ring that belonged to Jesse’s mother. Jesse wrote the note which accompanied this gift to me and Tom. As you can see his Aunt Delta saved this in a safe deposit box when his mother passed away.

I have very good news to share this time. Jesse called me this morning and we had a very nice phone visit. He sounded so good. We commiserated about our mutual old age and bad health. He said that he is still seeing a number of doctors and that some of the medication is making him sleep more than he would like to. He is eager for the weather to turn to Spring and hopes that he can get outdoors soon. He said that there are some songs that he wants to work on with his guitar so that sounds like fun.
Needless to say, his phone call was a most welcome ray of sunshine on my day. There is nothing like speaking with my sweet brother to lift my spirits.
*footnote to above article about Dick Grob’s book:
Below is the scanned image of the page from Dick Grob’s book showing that Elvis demanded that Col. Parker book more shows for him than the number that Col. Parker felt was best.
Below is the top of the above page showing the chapter number and chapter title. I share this so that anyone who does own Dick’s book may look up this page to see it directly from the book themselves.
Below is another page from Dick Grob’s book related to the above topic. This shows some of the 1976 tour dates. Tom and I were blessed to be in the audience for the Charlotte, N. C. show on March 20, 1976 (matinee show). Elvis was magnificent!
Once more, my sincerest thanks and appreciation to Dennis for going to this trouble to assist me with this article.

My good long-time friend Deb O. sent the below new article to me today regarding the upcoming “Agent Elvis” Netflix series. I want to share this nice article with all of the visitors to my site. I thank Deb so much for sending this article to me.
I have been following the news relating to this series for years and looking forward to viewing it. However, after learning more about it, I am going to avoid viewing it.
Elvis Presley Finally Gets His Own TV Series
Billed as, “Elvis trades in his jumpsuit for a jetpack when he joins a secret government spy program to help battle the dark forces that threaten the country,” the King of Rock and Roll will be appearing before a new generation of audiences in a whole new way.
This is par for the course, for Elvis, who over 50 years ago, historically became the first person to perform via satellite before millions around the globe at his famous “Elvis From Hawaii” concert.
Elvis’ own first cousin, Harold Loyd, told me personally in 1976 that he would loan the future ‘King’ superhero comic books when they were kids in Tupelo, Mississippi.
“He would love to read them and afterward we would talk about the characters, the superheroes, and he wanted to pretend he was one.”

The Netflix series debutes March, 17, 2023 and features Matthew McConaughey, Priscilla Presley, Johnny Knoxville, and Don Cheadle.
Here are some preview shots of “Agent Elvis.”
Elvis for President
Elvis & Priscilla
Elvis actually had a chimpanzee named Scatter in the 1960s.
As an aside, below is a photo of me with Elvis’ first cousin Harold Lloyd who we met at Graceland during several of our visits. He was a very kind, friendly, and interesting person who I truly felt privileged to meet and speak with.
We saw him on two occasions.

Even though I no longer plan to view the “Agent Elvis” Netflix animated series, I will post the following for those who are still interested. The reason that I am sharing the below article is that I did not know until reading this article that the series is supposedly about Elvis having faked his death to become an agent. I don’t think this has been mentioned elsewhere though perhaps it has and I just missed seeing it. Anyway, this topic certainly caught my attention.
Agent Elvis …Remember those conspiracy theories where Elvis is Alive?
Agent Elvis is a creation of his Widow Priscilla Presley and John Eddie. After the movie Elvis succeed in the box office and won multiple awards, The King is mainstream again. He got introduce to a new generation fans who just discovered him. Elvis has sold over a billion records, making him a top-selling artist of all time.. Even after Elvis Presley’s death in 1977, people continue to purchase his records in various forms, including albums, singles, and EPs. They can find his records in a multitude of forms, but still remain a popular item among music lovers.
Netflix had a purge on canceling Animated projects before they even put in production. Agent Elvis is one of the lucky shows to even get a Season 1. Award winning actor, Matthew McConaughey
The conspiracy theory that Elvis didn’t die inspired the series. He fakes his death for some undisclosed reason. This show reminds me a bit of Archer and Spy Groove. There is potential for this show to be good because it is made by the same studio behind Into the Spider-verse.
Elvis Presley trades in his fame as a musical icon and movie star to join a secret government operation as a spy.The thrill of a dangerous lifestyle drives Elvis to embark on exciting adventures, such as traveling to the moon and completing dangerous missions. Although it may seem absurd, this fictional tale highlights Elvis’ versatility, including his military service. He willingly abandoned his life of luxury as the King of Rock and Roll to live a life of danger as a secret agent.
In Real Life Elvis had proven he is no slouch as he did serve the military at a certain point of his life. He did it at the early hype of his career. Agent Elvis will be streaming soon only on Netflix.

I have news to share this time. Jesse phoned me on Sunday afternoon between 4 & 5 o’clock and we had a very nice chat. He is not feeling his very best now as he said he was not in a good mood and has some itching problems as well. He sounded wonderful to me and I could not have been happier to get to speak with him. There is no news for me to share from our conversation this time. He needed me to do some things for him and so we discussed that in detail. I am so very blessed to have him as my “brother” and dearest friend.

I just opened a brand new Twitter account now that it is owned by Mr. Musk and is being run properly.
Just now, I was wonderfully excited to stumble upon the below photo of Elvis which holds extremely special meaning for me. Tom and I attended this show in Charlotte on March 20, 1976. This is the very best photo that I have ever seen from that show. It is so wonderful that I am going to print it out and frame it.
Yesterday was the 47th anniversary of that red-letter day for us. My deepest appreciation to the Twitter member shown below who shared this treasure.

I really like this inspirational thought that my good friend Dennis Miller shared with me.
I would only change one word in this wonderful thought to apply to my own personal mission for Jesse. I would change the words “believe in” to “KNOW“.
