My very good long-time friend Christopher S. shared the music video below with me. I certainly enjoyed it and believe that my visitors will as well. My sincerest thanks to Christopher.
This song was written about an experience that Elvis had while driving cross-country. Larry Geller was with him, and he witnessed it as well. Larry wrote about it in his own books.
Elvis looked up at the clouds and saw the image of Stalin, which shocked him; then, the image transformed into an image of Jesus. Al Stewart has certainly done a very good job of writing about the experience in this song.

Below is a copy of Jesse’s book for sale at a lower price than I have seen in a long time, in case someone has been looking for it. It is an amazing book showing Jesse’s truth in his own handwriting.

It has been a rather long time since I have had so much as a word of news to share about Jesse. I have just a little to share now.
Our go-between’s wife phoned me this week, and so she let me know that Jesse is fine. I am so grateful for her call.
She had a bad injury to herself while unloading items from their auto…the tailgate/trunk lid fell upon her, knocking her down on the cement. Her hip was badly hurt and also broke her femur. She has been in long-term care for a long while following her surgery and has not been home very long.
The reason that I have not been in touch with Jesse is that our go-between also entered long-term care when his wife was injured. He remains there now because he has very bad neuropathy that hinders his getting around.
Jesse’s calls to me are patched through our go-between’s home phone; his mail to me is sent to me through our go-between. These measures are necessary to protect Jesse’s safety and privacy. So, right now, I have no idea when my contact with Jesse can be resumed.
This all weighs heavily on my heart and mind…but all I can do is wait to see how things play out. Rest assured that I will definitely post any news of Jesse here on my website.
Please do remember our go-between and his wife in your thoughts and prayers…they are good people who have been such a help for so many years.

But time is unkind to myths, and Elvis was never just an image. He was a man who had carried the weight of expectation longer than most could endure.
As the years went on, the cameras caught him looking heavier, slower, worn by illness and exhaustion. Some whispered that he had lost his spark, that the King had faded. But those who truly loved him — those who had watched his every concert, heard the depth in his later performances — knew better. They saw a man still giving every ounce of himself to his fans, even when his body was breaking.
One fan said it best: “Did you expect Elvis to be the same Elvis from the ’50s or the ’60s? He was getting older. He was human.”
